If you read my posts from Friday and yesterday, you may have picked up on the fact that I recently returned from Italy and, if you know anything about me, you may have also correctly assumed that I got a tattoo while I was there!
Once the trip was booked and I knew what city I would be in on what date, I started searching for tattoo artists. Because the majority of our time would be spent on Sardinia (more specifically Olbia), I wanted to find an artist there and that could represent the area with art that reflects things that are found on the island. After only a little bit of digging, I came across @micaela.decarli.tattoo’s Instagram profile and instantly felt a connection to her creations! I messaged her on Instagram, then on WhatsApp, and it was smooth sailing from there! Her space was gorgeous, her and the salon owner were so incredibly kind, and, most importantly, the tattoo turned out better than I could have imagined! I can’t say this enough, but I highly recommend getting tattoos when you travel as souvenirs!
