I had never heard of this brand, so was excited to try it out! When first applying it, I was disappointed by how messy it was – it got everywhere! Thankfully, I wasn’t wearing any other makeup, so the clean up process was easy. Normally, when a mascara is messy upon application, it dries quickly and becomes pretty bullet proof and that was the case here! I wore it for almost twelve (12) hours in nearly 100 degree Italian heat and it barely flaked or smudged at all (which was probably my fault, when it did, for touching my eyes after sneezing, sweating, etc.)! I hadn’t even set my under eyes with powder and that’s how I normally make mascara a lot more transfer-proof on me. Now, it didn’t give me the volume I crave with mascara, but it did give me beautiful length and wispiness. If it was a little less messy, I would say this would instantly take a place in my rotation. However, since it requires a lot of cleanup, I’ll reserve it for days when I’m just wearing clear brow gel, tinted SPF, and mascara.
