I placed a large @madam_glam Black Friday sale order and, as part of that haul, picked up their Navy Blue shade! I couldn’t wait to test it out, but also wanted to add a little bit of flare to it, so, for the first time since getting them over a year ago, I used the @beetlesgelpolish Mirror Nail Powders as a topper!
What’s on my nails:
🔘 Base coat: @madam_glam Soak-Off Base Gel ($19.95 for .5 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+3aSVeijmvXZKjB-Ld8mMJg)
🔘 Color: @madam_glam Gel Polish in Navy Blue ($21.95 for .5 ounces – https://www.madamglam.com/products/navy-blue-191-blue-gel-polish)
⚫️ “Your nails will look great with this classic navy color! Try this for a preppy look!”
⚫️ Creme finish
⚫️ Check out photo four (4) for what this shade looks like without the mirror powder layered on top.
⚫️ It says that this is opaque in 1-2 coats and that was definitely the case when I applied it. Nearly opaque in one (1) coat, I applied a second because I personally like the feeling of more coats on my nails.
🔘 Chrome powder: @beetlesgelpolish Mirror Nail Powder ($15.99 for eight (8) colors – https://amzn.to/3k2HppP)
⚫️ I used shade #8 and applied it with the included applicator.
⚫️ Photo four (4) shows what this mirror powder looks like on top of a white base.
⚫️ It was SO easy to use! I applied one (1) coat of base coat, cured it, two (2) coats of Navy Blue, curing in between those two (2) coats, one (1) coat of top coat, cured it, one (1) coat of mirror powder, applied another coat of top coat, cured it, and then admired the amazing nails I had created!
🔘 Top coat: @madam_glam Soak-Off No Wipe Top Gel (normally $19.95, but currently on sale for $14.96 for .5 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+0U3FPZS24J-0iHoZWSk5oA)
🔘 UV light: https://amzn.to/2X3egz8
