Thank you, @nailtopiabeauty, for sending me two (2) of your very seasonally appropriate nail lacquer shades!
What’s on my nails:
🔘 Base coat: @orly Bonder ($10 for .6 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+3t6OwJXzbGHAWfjaQUD9PA)
🔘 Main color: @nailtopiabeauty Plant Based, Bio-Sourced, Chip Free Nail Lacquer in Black Cherry Fairy ($10 for .41 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+PxoNqfg5PqwsSm3qLpr5TA)
⚫️ Described as a “near-espresso shade with warm tones”
⚫️ Like almost everyone else, I have been drawn to brown nail polish shades lately, so this was right up my alley! It is fully opaque in two (2) coats and the brush is the same one I know and love from @nailtopiabeauty. My only issue was the lasting power. I used the same base coat I normally do, but switched up the top coat. So, either the top coat is terrible or @nailtopiabeauty has changed its formula. I find it hard to believe they would make adjustments to something that was working so well, but I plan to re-apply these shades with my normal, preferred top coat to make sure my assumption is correct.
🔘 Accent color: @nailtopiabeauty Plant Based, Bio-Sourced, Chip Free Nail Lacquer in Takes Two to Mango ($10 for .41 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+jfCJPgJPHXS7r5uNv7_QAg)
⚫️ Described as a “coral-pinkish, orange”
⚫️ I didn’t get to test the opacity or longevity on this shade, as I only used it for an accent, but I do love how my very simple, almost impossible to mess up, nail art turned out with it! I do love orange nails, though, and this shade is great for the season, so I am confident I’ll use this for a full manicure soon!
🔘 Top coat: @orly Shining Armor Long Wear Topcoat ($15 for .6 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+m880o0DgOMoX8KYANjgF3g)
