I love foundation. Especially foundation that covers the redness in my cheeks that I dislike so much. However, the older I get, the less coverage I desire, so I need to find a way to still hide the discoloration while letting a lot of my natural skin show through. Years ago, I tested the @drjart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 ($52 for 1.7 ounces or $20 for .5 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+3Zjzl9NcdOOmTcgmqnxOEQ) and that’s what I am doing again today. I recall enjoying it then, but was nowhere near as knowledgeable about makeup as I am now and my preferences were vastly different, so I was looking forward to seeing my opinion a second time around!
What it claims:
🔘 A bestselling green-to-beige cica cream with mineral-SPF protection that rapidly neutralizes the look of redness and visibly evens tone for healthy-, natural-looking skin
🔘 For centuries, tigers in the Asian wetlands have rolled around in Centella asiatica (aka tiger grass or cica) to help heal their wounds
🔘 Taking inspiration from the tigers, this K-beauty favorite utilizes visibly reparative tiger grass to soothe, calm, and moisturize skin
🔘 In a clinical study with 106 people between 20-50 years old, 95% said skin felt soothed with moisture, 92% said skin looked less red, 91% said blemishes and discolorations looked concealed, 90% said skin had a vibrant, healthy-looking glow, and 92% said skin tone looked even
My verdict?
As you can tell by photo two (2), the difference this product made in the appearance of my skin is pretty impressive! In the photo on the left, I had just double cleansed my skin, so nothing was on it. In the photo on the right, I am wearing this product, a little blush and bronzer, and clear brow gel. If you want to see this product in action in video, go check out @glamzilla’s review (https://bit.ly/3xdMWwJ)! For me, this is lightweight, covers all of the redness I want it to, lasts all day without making me ever look greasy, and has skincare benefits! What else could you ask for?!
