There are many things I don’t need more of in life and cream blush is close to the top of that list. However, when I started seeing the glowing (pun intended) reviews pour in for the @hudabeauty Cheeky Tint Cream Blush Stick ($25 for .17 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+GvLji3xkE5-38PlPYIi93Q), I made sure it came home with me during the @sephora Spring Savings Event!
What it claims:
🔘 Infused with lychee extract and vitamin E, these super moisturizing, easy-to-use, water-, transfer-, and sweat-proof blush sticks immediately melt into the skin, leaving behind a super juicy pop of color
🔘 Available in five stunning shades and suitable for all skin types and tones
🔘 Free of parabens and mineral oil
🔘 Vegan and cruelty-free
My verdict?
I purchased the shade Coral Cutie and it’s described as a “bright orange-pink.” I was debating between this and Proud Pink, but finally settled on this because I thought it would look stunning on tan skin (which I may have if it gets above 40 degrees ever again in Minnesota). As a huge lover of the cream bronzer from the same brand (https://bit.ly/3jQDIQC), I expected this to have a lot more pigment upon initial application, but it applied quite sheer. Normally I wouldn’t be a fan of lower quantities of pigment, but when it comes to blush, I like when it can be built up because I tend to gravitate toward bright and dark shades that wouldn’t look right on my skintone if they went on with full pigment right away. As I am with all @hudabeauty products I’ve tried, I was impressed with the blendability and longevity. The hype was real for this product and I’m glad I have it in my collection!
