I tend to get so excited about brightly colored nail polish shades with unique finishes that I forget about the importance of neutrals in my collection. While I have no problem wearing neon green in the winter and forest green in the summer, there are times when I want my nails pristinely manicured, but without causing a scene or clashing with my outfit. That’s why, when I placed my most recent @madam_glam order, I couldn’t resist adding this shade to my cart – partly for the shade name, but mostly because the swatches made it look like something that could go with everything, but without completely blending into the background.
What’s on my nails:
🔘 Base coat: @madam_glam Soak-Off Base Gel ($19.95 – https://www.madamglam.com/collections/base-top-remover-builders/products/soak-off-gel-base-coat)
🔘 Color: @madam_glam Gel Polish in Workaholic ($19.95 – https://www.madamglam.com/products/workaholic)
⚫️ Described as a “Desert Sand Pink” and “A perfect muted pastel pink that makes it its job your manicure looks perfect for weeks.”
⚫️ It says that this is opaque in 1-2 coats and that was definitely the case when I applied it. Nearly opaque in one (1) coat, I applied a second because I personally like the feeling of more coats on my nails.
⚫️ This shade is everything I had hoped it would be and then some. I don’t have to think twice about it going with anything, but it’s nowhere near boring.
🔘 Top coat: @madam_glam Soak-Off No Wipe Top Gel ($19.95 – https://www.madamglam.com/collections/base-top-remover-builders/products/no-wipe-top-coat)
🔘 UV light: https://amzn.to/2X3egz8
