#olaplexgiftedme a sample of their @olaplex No. 9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum ($28 for 3 ounces – https ://rstyle.me/+qLzB9vdjGkXtvUgAPakyaw) and, having never really fallen head over heels in love with the brand, I was looking forward to seeing if this could be the product that makes me explore more of what they have to offer me and my hair!
What it claims:
🔘 A weightless, leave-in styling serum that’s rich in antioxidants to help protect from pollution, heat, and future damage for shine, bounceback curls, and anti-static and anti-tangle action
🔘 Perfect for all hair types, this antioxidant-rich, silicone-free styling serum shields strands from pollution, heat, and future damage by supplying nourishment, blocking pollutants, and neutralizing free radicals
🔘 Use on clean, damp hair and reapply between washes for satin shine, style retention, bouncy curls, less static and tangles, and heat protection up to 450°F
🔘 Vegan and cruelty-free
I applied this to clean, towel-dried hair and then proceeded to blow dry and curl my hair with a straightener. Normally, my main objective post-wash is to try and make my hair look as voluminous as possible – just like it looked pre-wash, with pounds of dry shampoo and texture spray giving it the fullness I always desire. To do that, I will apply a volumizing foam and heat protectant before blow drying. In order to get the full effect of this product, I only washed, conditioned, and then applied this product. What I noticed immediately was how shiny my hair was. Then, during the curling process, I was very impressed with how easily the tool glided through my hair. Pictured, I am on day three (3) of this style and have been pleasantly surprised with how shiny, soft and curly it has remained. However, as someone who doesn’t struggle with achieving shine or taming frizz, this isn’t something I won’t be able to live without. I will enjoy using it up, but don’t plan to purchase the full size.
