Knowing that I was only bringing a carry-on with me for our nearly two (2) week trip to Ireland, I left all of my makeup at home. Although our travel began on March 9th, we arrived on March 10th and I made it all the way to March 14th before I bought makeup. I didn’t plan to do it that way, but the @officialbrownthomas in Cork, Ireland was too beautiful to resist! Thankfully, they had a @maccosmetics counter so that I could pick up the very highly hyped up new M·A·CStack Mascara in Superstack Mega Brush ($28 for .41 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+1dyxZhmRiBC1nsVo8nlu2g) which I had been wanting to test out anyway!
What it claims:
🔘 Stack on infinite layers of volume + length
🔘 This never-before-seen endlessly buildable, clump-resistant formula gives you customizable volume from natural to next-level, along with instant length
🔘 Features the Superstack Mega Brush that’s ideal for longer or upper lashes, while Superstack Micro Brush is ideal for shorter or lower lashes (here is a link to that version: https://rstyle.me/+dVpt_VrL7qA9IaHG2e8oVQ)
🔘 24-hour wear
It was a risk for me to buy a mascara I had never tried before in hopes that it would stand up well to our very long days, potential rainy conditions and very lightly set under eyes (if I don’t set the concealer on my under eyes well, mascara tends to smudge and, thankfully, I didn’t have to buy a full-size setting powder because the amazing women at the @itcosmetics counter gave me a sample of one of theirs!), but the chance I took paid off and I fell in love with this product while over in Ireland! Photo three (3) is one (1) coat on my right eye, photo four (4) is two (2) coats on my right eye and photo five (5) is two (2) coats on both eyes. Although it says it’s endlessly buildable, I only need two (2) coats and find more just get a little too clumpy for my preference. The long, voluminous look lasts all day for me without smudging, so I will definitely thoroughly enjoy continuing to use this!
FYI, I receive a small commission when you shop via the links listed above. There is no additional cost to you, but it supports me and my blog and I greatly appreciate it!
