I am always looking for ways to save time and drying and styling my hair is definitely one of the tasks that takes me the longest. So, when I saw impressive before and after pictures and good reviews for the @evahairnyc Lazy Jane Salt-Free Wave Spray ($11.99 for 5.4 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+N3iwuTDSpCneHeBxwnMcaA), I had high hopes for how it would perform for me!
What it claims:
🔘 Delivers effortless, back-from-the beach waves with ultra-soft touchable texture
🔘 This salt-free formula moisturizes + instantly texturizes to create waves without the stickiness, dryness or crunch
🔘 Certified cruelty-free through Leaping Bunny, certified vegan, and certified GMO-free
🔘 Eva NYC’s packaging is made from 100% recyclable aluminum – just add it to your curbside bin, and it can continue to be recycled forever
My verdict?
I tried this for the first time on damp hair and then again the next day on dry hair (it says it can be used on both), using no other hair products. What you’re seeing in the first photo is three (3) applications – the two (2) listed above, along with another on damp hair. What I did like about this product is how it minimized the frizz I would normally encounter just letting my hair air dry and how good it made my hair smell. What I didn’t like is that it basically did nothing else. I may enjoy using this on curled hair to give it more of a beachy, undone look, but on straight hair, it’s nearly pointless for the lack of wave my hair starts with.
