Thank you to @shuuemura and @bzzagent for gifting me the @shuuemura Essence Absolue Overnight Nourishing Treatment ($69 for 3.3 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+ueUP79QlQrnd4Ezhj6jvJA)! I had never heard of a product like this before, so couldn’t wait to test it out!
What it claims:
🔘 This overnight hair serum softens and nourishes while reducing frizz to improve manageability for advanced night care
🔘 This light cream formula, infused with Japanese red camellia oil, is non-greasy, quickly absorbed, and pillow-proof
🔘 It can be applied as a nighttime hair treatment, making your locks smooth, hydrated, and rejuvenated come morning and ready for styling
🔘 The serum is also safe on colored, hair so your hair color can thrive without sacrificing the health of your hair
🔘 Natural woody and warm fragrance has heart notes of precious Japanese camellia flower
In the first photo, it’s important to know that you’re looking at me with day four (4) hair. Normally, by this day, with all the dry shampoo build-up, my hair looks dry – especially the ends. This photo was taken the morning after I tried the product for the first time. Last night was my second night testing it out. Much to my surprise, and likely as you can tell by the photo, this didn’t make my hair greasy at all, but it sure did a fantastic job of making it look healthy and the right amount of hydrated! What I like to do is, right before bed, put two (2) pumps into my hair, a little dry shampoo on my roots and then put it into a high ponytail with an @invisibobble (https://rstyle.me/+Sg78UXsRXjxUQL5U_a8P5g). When I have woken up the past two (2) days, my hair has looked better than it did the night before! Now, this product is a bit pricey, so unless I use it up and determine I can’t live without it, I may not repurchase it. However, if I still feel the way I do now, it’ll be a tough choice!
FYI, I receive a small commission when you shop via the links listed above. There is no additional cost to you, but it supports me and my blog and I greatly appreciate it!
