Thursday Thoughts – OPI Nature Strong For What It’s Earth

September 9, 2021

After watching Kelli Marissa’s swatch video (, I couldn’t resist trying out the new @opi Nature Strong formula (! When I was waiting for a recent @ultabeauty hair appointment of mine to begin, I picked out four (4) shades and I’m reviewing the first one I tried today!

What’s on my nails:
🔘 Base coat: @orly Bonder ($10 for .6 ounces –
⚫️ Grips nail lacquer to the nail surface for lasting adhesion
🔘 Color: @opi For What It’s Earth ($11.50 for .5 ounces –
⚫️ Described as a “neutral pink”
🔘 Top coat: @sechenails Dry Fast Top Coat ($9.95 for .5 ounces –
⚫️ When you apply it to your nail color it penetrates all the way down to the nail bed to create a bond so strong that you can truly forget about your nail color chipping or peeling

About the Nature Strong formula:
“Our first natural origin vegan nail lacquer that stays on so you can stay natural. Feel emflowered by 30 new shades in a range of neutral earth tones.”

My verdict?
This shade is gorgeous! It’s a bit more understated than I normally go, but it’s nice to switch it up sometimes! I got almost fully opaque coverage with just one (1) coat, but did two (2) to ensure it was and because I prefer the thicker feel on my nails. The brush is nice and made it easy to get decently precise in my application. I first applied this on Sunday night and this photo was taken on Wednesday evening. The wear isn’t overly impressive, but getting over three (3) full days of wear with only a couple of small chips is still acceptable to me. I enjoyed my first impression of this formula, so I look forward to trying out the other three (3) I purchased!
