Try Out Tuesday – First Aid Beauty Anti-Dandruff Scalp Serum

August 24, 2021

#FirstAidBeautygiftedme their @firstaidbeauty Anti-Dandruff Scalp Serum ($32 for 3 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+l6T4LVjMizbj4Sj2RRpYbA) and, as someone who has struggled with a dry, flaky scalp, I couldn’t wait to put this to the test!

What it claims:
🔘 FDA-approved to reduce dandruff flakes with 2% Salicylic Acid, this lightweight, leave-in treatment helps relieve dry scalp irritation and discomfort
🔘 Formulated with Aloe Juice, Colloidal Oatmeal and Charcoal Powder, this sheer formula purifies the scalp and helps eliminate scalp itching, redness and flaking without weighing down hair, leaving it crunchy or greasy or interfering with styling
🔘 Vegan, Clean, Cruelty-Free, Gluten-Free, Sulfate-Free, Paraben-Free, Silicone-Free

My verdict?
I have used a handful of scalp-specific products over the years, but never have I encountered one that you can apply to dry, styled hair without the concern of it ruining the look, but this product says it can and isn’t lying! I have used this a handful of times now, when my scalp is the driest (can you say several days of dry shampoo build up?!) and instantly feel a sense of relief because the itchiness disappears. The only two (2) drawbacks I have noticed are that the wet look sticks around for a couple of minutes, so don’t use this right before you need your hair to be back to looking flawless and I have a feeling I’ll go through this bottle quickly and it isn’t a cheap product. Other than that, I highly recommend you try it if you have the same issues I do!
