Wear Test Wednesday – Benefit Cosmetics Playtint Cheek & Lip Stain

August 4, 2021

When I ordered a new setting spray the other day (review on that coming soon!), I got a sample of the @benefitcosmetics Playtint Cheek & Lip Stain ($18 for .2 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+jravmhk4yUxG758EM2oNow) to test out! As someone who had just recently discovered their love of blush, I couldn’t wait to try it!

What it claims:
🔘 Fresh, playful pink-lemonade shade
🔘 Long wearing & non-drying
🔘 Smudge-proof & transfer-proof

My experience:
Photo two (2) is with the product applied directly from the applicator onto my palm. Photo three (3) is with the product wiped off and the stain it leaves behind. In photo one (1), I had been wearing the product on my cheeks only for eleven (11) hours! I was a little apprehensive about the color because it isn’t something I traditionally gravitate toward, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked with my skin tone. I also thoroughly enjoyed that it was buildable and easily blendable. I know that some people struggle with too pigmented of cream and liquid blushes, but you won’t encounter that with this product in this shade. Finally, as I mentioned earlier, the last power is fantastic! I will definitely use this sample up and will consider, after going through the endless number of blushes I already own, purchasing a full size.
