Thursday Thoughts – Kiehl’s Ferulic Brew Rejuvenating Facial Essence

June 10, 2021

Thank you to @bzzagent and @kiehls for gifting me the @kiehls Ferulic Brew Rejuvenating Facial Essence ($52 for 6.8 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+qinydLbgSKUlTYnLKKDyVg)!

What it claims:
🔘 With ingredients brewed for 120 hours, this 99 percent natural* formula with ferulic acid (defends against free radicals to prevent visible signs of aging and dullness), lactic acid (refines the look of tone and texture for visibly smoother, more even, glowing skin), and squalane (hydrates and supports skin’s moisture barrier) provides powerful antioxidant protection to visibly smooth and even texture and tone, reduce fine lines, and impart a healthy-looking glow
🔘 In just 7 days, skin looks smooth and even with less-visible fine lines
🔘 Free of parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, sulfates SLS & SLES, triclocarban, triclosan, and contains less than one percent synthetic fragrance
🔘 Comes in recyclable packaging

My verdict?
If I based my reviews solely on packaging, this product would get a 10/10! However, it’s based on much more than that and I’m happy to report that I enjoyed the product inside just as much as the appearance outside! I have used many essences before and this is probably the “thickest” I’ve used, which I’m sure is why I experience such hydration when using it. I also have absolutely noticed a brighter, more glowy complexion and think my skin definitely has been looking smoother than normal. I am excited to keep using it because I’m hopeful that the results I’m seeing will just continue to get better and better!
