Mani Monday – Pahlish Space Cowboy

May 10, 2021

When I placed my first ever order with @pahlish, this was the first shade I put into my cart!

What’s on my nails:
🔘 Base coat: @orly Bonder ($10 for .6 ounces –
⚫️ Grips nail lacquer to the nail surface for lasting adhesion
🔘 Color: @pahlish Space Cowboy ($12 for .5 ounces –
⚫️ It’s currently sold out, but @pahlish is having a restock on May 23rd and this shade may be included.
⚫️ Described as a “deep velvet blue with a glowing red/copper/green shifting multichrome”
🔘 Top coat: @sechenails Dry Fast Top Coat ($9.95 for .5 ounces –
⚫️ When you apply it to your nail color it penetrates all the way down to the nail bed to create a bond so strong that you can truly forget about your nail color chipping or peeling

My verdict?
Before I judge all aspects of this polish, let’s judge my application. I was in a hurry and didn’t give the process the love I normally do, so if you see areas in which things look messier than normal, that’s why! Now, back to the product. It’s gorgeous, isn’t it?! If you like purple nail polish, you’ll love this. If you like dark colors on your nails, you’ll love this. If you love subtle shimmer, you’ll love this in artificial lighting. If you love shimmer that stands out, you’ll love this in natural lighting. Seriously, it feels like it has something for everyone! The only issue I had was the brush this time around. Because the color is so opaque, if the brush isn’t the exact shape I favor, I tend to color outside of the lines sometimes. All that means is I have to take more time focusing on the task at hand. I only put it on yesterday, so can’t speak to longevity, but I still recommend it highly!
