Try Out Tuesday:
After seeing @kathleenlights call this the best eyebrow gel she had ever tried, I knew I needed to see for myself whether the @nudestix Brow Boost + Set Gel XL ($28 for .34 ounces – https://www.nudestix.com/products/brow-gel) could wow me, too!
What it clams:
๐ A non-flaking, clear brow gel that locks in and sets even unruly brows
๐ 5% Peptide Complex Factors stimulate keratin and increase hair density while Panthenol helps strengthen brow hair
๐ Long wearing, medium-hold clear gel that not only grooms and sets your brows in place but also volumizes brows with peptides for up to +59% increase in brow hair density after only four weeks
๐ Made in Korea
๐ Vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, synthetic fragrance-free
๐ Free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates
My verdict?
I love the size of the brush on this. I don’t have super thick, fluffy brows, so precision when it comes to a brow gel is important. I also think the actual product is really good and does keep my brows almost entirely in place for the entire day. My issue currently is that my brows are quite long (I know, it’s time for a trim) and the bristles are short, so I need to dig in a bit to make sure I get to the base of the hair. I know, once I have them tamed, I will have less of an issue with that. When comparing it to my current favorite (https://katierobisonblogs.com/index.php/2020/07/30/thursday-thoughts-benefitbeauty-24-hr-brow-setter/), there are several differences – the brush, the way it makes my brows feel after drying down and the price per ounce. When it comes to the brush, I prefer @benefitcosmetics because it allows me to apply a lot of product, press it down and then get to the root of my brow hairs. I also prefer the way @benefitcosmetics makes my brows feel. The feeling is stiffer, but that gives me more confidence in the look lasting all day. The only place where @nudestix wins for me is in the price. You get more product for less money. Even though the @nudestix option is great, I will choose to continue to repurchase the one from @benefitcosmetics instead.
What product, if any, do you use to set your brows?
