Mani Week Day #5 – @holotaco Party Punch

April 8, 2021

Welcome to seven (7) days of manicures! I have been obsessed with painting my nails at home, so I saved up photos of what’s been on my nails over the past few months to post for an entire week! If this series goes well, I will absolutely plan to do it again in the future – so let me know if you like it!

What’s on my nails:

🔘 Base coat: @orly Bonder ($10 for .6 ounces –

⚫️ Grips nail lacquer to the nail surface for lasting adhesion

🔘 Color: @holotaco Party Punch ($13 for .4 ounces –

⚫️ Described as a “100% real silver and pink holographic glitters in a tinted pink jelly base”

🔘 Top coat: @sechenails Dry Fast Top Coat ($9.95 for .5 ounces –

⚫️ When you apply it to your nail color it penetrates all the way down to the nail bed to create a bond so strong that you can truly forget about your nail color chipping or peeling

My verdict?

It was so difficult to capture how sparkly this shade is, so I highly recommend you go to the @holotaco website to see professional photos and/or watch the swatch video from @simplynailogical ( in order to see it in its full glory! As for the shade, it’s so beautiful! It’s the most amazing in the sun, but is still very eye-catching in low light and only takes two (2) coats for full opacity. When it comes to wear time, I have had it on for three (3) full days and have no chips and, honestly, I have a feeling it won’t chip anytime soon because it just feels secure on my nails – if that makes any sense. My only issue is the thin brush. Thankfully, I believe new releases from @holotaco are created with a wider brush, so I look forward to testing one of those in the future!
