Try Out Tuesday – Moon Shine Mani Fat Tuesday nail polish

February 16, 2021

In my quest to try more indie nail polish brands, I came across @moonshinemani and when I asked @miss.mani.mel about her experience with the brand, she said the formula was great, so I jumped in head first and purchased five (5) from the brand! In order to decide which shades to get, I watched a ton of @phoebemoon14’s (the owner and creator of @moonshinemani) and narrowed down my selections that way. The reason I chose this one to feature first is because it’s Mardi Gras today and it seemed only right that this be the mani I’ve been rocking today and for the past week!

Details:

🔘 Base coat: @orly Bonder ($10 for .6 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+3t6OwJXzbGHAWfjaQUD9PA)

⚫️ Grips nail lacquer to the nail surface for lasting adhesion

🔘 Color: @moonshinemani Fat Tuesday ($12 for .5 ounces – https://bit.ly/3u3fypT)

⚫️ “…a yellow crelly filled with turquoise, green, white, gold, and purple glitter mix.”

⚫️ Cruelty free

⚫️ Ten (10) free products meaning they contain no Toluene, Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde Resin, or Camphor, TPHP, Parabens, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide or Lead

🔘 Top coat: @sechenails Dry Fast Top Coat ($9.95 for .5 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+Y7jlC6HjE5pwYD4G_tYzJw)

⚫️ When you apply it to your nail color it penetrates all the way down to the nail bed to create a bond so strong that you can truly forget about your nail color chipping or peeling

My verdict?

The only regret I have is not buying so many more bottles of nail polish from @moonshinemani! I love the brush, the uniqueness of this shade and the fantastic wear time! I applied this on Wednesday and I only have a couple of very tiny chips. I am so excited to test out the other shades I purchased and know I will be buying more very soon!
