Shampoo & Conditioner Sunday – @evahairnyc Lazy Jane Air Day Shampoo & Conditioner

February 14, 2021

#evanycgiftedme their @evahairnyc Lazy Jane Air Dry Shampoo ($13 for 8.8 ounces – https://bit.ly/3dd1ELV) and Lazy Jane Air Dry Conditioner ($13 for 8.8 ounces – https://bit.ly/2Zf3TGh) and, after my very positive experience with their Tone It Down collection (https://bit.ly/2ZcdM7F) and the burning desire to have beautiful air-dried hair, I couldn’t wait to give these a go!

What it claims:

🔘 I deliver easy-going, air dried hair perfection for a heat-free styling routine

🔘 My unique, texture-enhancing formula starts styling in the shower by moisturizing and taming frizz for perfectly tousled hair

🔘 No need to use a blow dryer, just embrace your hair’s movement and body as it naturally dries

🔘 Packaging is now made from 100% recyclable aluminum – just add it to your curbside bin, and it can continue to be recycled forever

My verdict?

As you can tell by photo two (2), I am not sure this product was made for me. I don’t have a consistent wave throughout, but my hair also isn’t perfectly straight. I think this would work really well with short hair (straight or otherwise) and any other length hair as long as it has a bit more wave or curl. What I thoroughly enjoyed was how soft my hair felt and the complete lack of frizz. It was definitely hydrated and tamed! The only real issue I had was with the pumps. I thought it was a fluke with the Tone It Down collection, but I experienced the same, difficult to push down pumps with both sets now. I hope that’s something they address in the future because the remaining recyclable packaging really makes them special. I won’t purchase these products with my own money in the future, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend it to the right person!
