#isleofparadisegiftedme their @theisleofparadise Self Tanning Water in the shade Medium ($28 for 6.76 ounces at @sephora – https://rstyle.me/+8yOsm1WKsVhxOKxa-LMZxA) and it was perfect timing because when I was scrolling through my Instagram feed the other day, I quickly glanced at the photo I posted of me, outside, in my @eshakti custom dress (https://katierobisonblogs.com/index.php/2021/01/02/style-saturday-eshakti-custom-dress/). Do you want to know what I asked myself? “Was I wearing white boots in that photo?” I wasn’t. I don’t own white boots. Those were just my legs. It was in that moment that I decided it was time to self-tan.
What it claims:

My verdict?
I don’t know why, but self-tanning makes me nervous. I always think it’ll turn out too dark and splotchy, or won’t result in any change whatsoever. Thankfully, I experienced neither of those with this product! It was super pleasant smelling and very easy to apply! I tried it both by spraying it directly onto my skin and then rubbing it in with a mitt and spraying it onto the mitt and rubbing it into my skin. Both worked well, but I preferred spraying it onto the mitt first because it reduced the risk of overspray onto something I didn’t want tanned (like my sister’s wood floor). I also think the shade was perfect for me! I highly recommend this product if you have been in the market for a self-tanner!
