As you may have seen in the post I wrote about the fabulous gifts I received from @caitlynpostsmakeup, one of my Secret Santas, (https://katierobisonblogs.com/index.php/2020/12/27/secret-santa-sunday-beauty-blogger-elfster-gift-giving/) included was the @narsissist Climax Extreme Volumizing Mascara ($24 for .24 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+7BqXnPlWaHkUV0QKqvDX0g) and, as a mascara lover, I couldn’t wait to test it out!
What it claims:
🔘 Reaches its peak with the most dramatic volume yet in as little as one coat
🔘 It is formulated with the loaded pigment complex and the XXXL ribbed-bristle brush to instantly create explosive volume with latex-like black pigment from root to tip
🔘 When you use it, you get maximum volume with minimum effort

My experience:
🔘 Photo five (5) is with one (1) coat on my right eye, photo six (6) is with two (2) coats on my right eye and photo seven (7) is with two (2) coats on both eyes.
🔘 I have worn this on three (3) separate occasions, with different under eye concealers and powder each time.
👍🏻 As you can tell, the amount of length, volume and curl I was able to achieve in two (2) coats is impressive!
👎🏻👍🏻 Unfortunately, each time I wore this, it smudged pretty dramatically under my eyes. Never on my eyelids, though.
My verdict?
When I first applied this, I thought there was a chance I had found my new favorite mascara! It did everything I could ever want a mascara to do and truly made me feel like I was wearing false lashes! However, all good things must come to an end and that was the case when I looked in a mirror a couple of hours after application. The smudging was excessive each time I wore it, so there’s no chance I’ll be purchasing the full size of this.
