Texture Tuesday – @CultandKing BALM

December 8, 2020

I have tried a lot of hair products over the years, so I know almost instantly what is going to work for me and what won’t. I also don’t normally leave the salon with products because, honestly, I like to read a copious amount of reviews before I decide to spend my money on it. However, when @jessicaskilar, owner of @mnnafsalon and stylist extraordinaire recommends a product that she used on my hair, but that I hadn’t experienced with my own hands I know there’s no way I’m not leaving without it!

🔘 @cultandking BALM ($40 for 3.4 ounces –

⚫️ When you combine all these great ingredients in a jar, you should expect something extraordinary. First it was shaving. Pretty quickly BALM started to be used for everything! Dabbed under the eyes every morning. Rubbed it into beards instead of oil. Worked into hair for everything from styling to de-frizzing ends to getting that great second day hair look. Moisturizing hands, elbows and feet. Using BALM as a facial exfoliant and moisturizer instead of department store skincare brands. Couples each wanted their own jar. It’s not soap; it’s an oil-cream suspension with countless helpful uses and properties for healthy skin, scalp, beard and hair.

⚫️ No artificial color. No artificial scent. No parabens or formaldehyde-based chemical preservatives. No animal testing. Gluten-free.

⚫️ The reason we made BALM so beautiful is so you will refill it endlessly. When you’ve used all your BALM, put the empty bamboo jar and lid in your dishwasher to get it thoroughly clean, and refill it with a minimally packaged BALM REFILL –

My verdict?

I bought this product because I love the way it made my hair look and trusted the person that sold it to me (photo 5 is after use, photo 6 is before use). After doing more research, though, I now love the company as much as I love their BALM. Trust me, read more about them here: They definitely have a customer for life and I can’t wait to try some of their other creations!
