Try Out Tuesday – @ColorWowHair Speed Dry Blow-Dry Spray

November 10, 2020

Thank you to @colorwowhair for gifting me their Speed Dry Blow-Dry Spray ($24 for 5 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+XO86_t7OgqFMpXeBlBx51g)! As someone with a lot of hair (albeit fine), I am all for testing out something that claims it can greatly reduce the amount of time it takes me to blow dry!

What it claims:

🔘 Dramatically reduces heat damage by forming a high-gloss protective clear coat on hair before blow drying and counteracts excessive porosity that’s common with color-treated hair

🔘 Featuring a blend of keratin proteins, panthenol and silk amino acids, this formula strengthens your hair while making it soft for a healthy texture and sheen

🔘 Alcohol-free

My experience:

🔘 I have used this on two (2) separate occasions.

👍🏻 I greatly appreciate how clear the instructions are.

👍🏻 The mist is excellent. It applies a generous amount of product with each spray.

👍🏻 Both times I’ve used this, I experienced a dry time reduction of nearly 25%.

👍🏻 What I didn’t expect was how silky my hair felt after it was completely dry. I wanted to see how this performed on its own, so I didn’t use anything but shampoo and conditioner. It made my hair smooth and shiny, without weighing it down.

My verdict?

I am really happy with the performance of this! I have used several products that make the same claims and, while they all normally work well, the price per ounce of this is less than those I have tested in the past and my hair never felt as good as it does with this one. Also, it’s a big plus that it’s alcohol free! I will definitely consider purchasing this myself once I’ve used it up!
