My birthday is in December, but when I went in-store to @sephora in August, they told me that it was time I picked out my birthday gift and I wasn’t going to argue! I went with the @milkmakeup option and today I’m reviewing the Lip + Cheek ($28 for 1 ounce – https://rstyle.me/+PIjDldzW0vAOWkBrEWz6Zw) the gift set came with!
What it claims:
🔘 A two-in-one cream blush and lip color formulated with hydrating ingredients for a buildable, blendable tint
🔘 With this cream blush and lip color, you can swipe, blend, and go with no mirror required
🔘 Its color payoff builds as you swipe
🔘 This product is vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free
My experience:
👍🏻 The shade Werk, described as a dusty rose, was what I received and I absolutely love it! I think it would work well on a lot of skin tones because it can easily be built up.
👍🏻 I have used this both by applying it directly from the container and using a brush. While both work perfectly fine, I prefer using a duo fiber brush to collect the product and then putting it on my cheeks from there. My favorite brush for this has been the @beautyjunkees Pro Mini Duo Fiber Stippling Brush (https://bit.ly/3dJgZC9).
👍🏻 It blends out so very easily.
👍🏻 It lasts all day on my skin.
🔘 I didn’t and don’t plan on using this on my lips.
My verdict?
This blush is a winner! Just like it’s bronzer partner (https://rstyle.me/+s58ls1EjdGjCoMbJjU7Jow), this product is inexpensive when you realize how much it contains and how little you need to use to make an impact. Also, the shade range is beautiful and inclusive.
