The more blonde I go (although this photo was taken before my most recent trip to @maxwell_cline), the drier my ends get (although they will look much better after my upcoming trip to @heidis.heads.of.hair at @mnnafsalon) and the more moisture I need to add back in. So, because I was running low on the oil I was currently using, I picked up the @livingproofinc No Frizz Vanishing Oil ($30 for 1.7 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+wlF8g7Xln5Pys2cwI8NxWQ) to see if it could become my new favorite!
What it claims:
๐ Powered by Living Proof’s patented Healthy Hair Molecule and a lightweight 5-oil blend that mimics the oils found in naturally healthy hair
๐ Together, they weightlessly block humidity, hydrate and smooth dry hair – without the silicones that leave it greasy
๐ Silicone-free, color safe and safe for chemically treated hair
My experience:
๐ I have used this on several occasions – with straight hair, curly hair, on hot and humid days and on cold(er) fall days.
๐๐ป I really enjoy the dropper. It allows me to only dispense the amount of product I feel as though I’ll need that day.
๐๐ป The scent, like all Living Proof products, is very nice!
๐๐ป๐๐ป It provides a decent amount of hydration, but I have experienced more with other comparable products.
๐๐ป I don’t feel as though the results last all day.
My verdict:
While I love the packaging and scent, I am underwhelmed by the performance. It’s nowhere near a bad product, but I have others I like more that cost much less per ounce (https://rstyle.me/+RpiL2OWY7coWEP_ijf5m7Q, for example). I’ll have no problem using this up, but I won’t be repurchasing.
