Worth the Hype Wednesday – @ColourPopCo Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Foundation

October 7, 2020

One of my absolute favorite concealers is the @colourpopcosmetics Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Creamy Concealer ($9 for .3 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+m3VtB9noYBmbUSvIbudhZQ), so when they released the Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Foundation ($16 for 1 ounce – https://rstyle.me/+lppQLuEGXlylZMo6xKSgFQ) and I heard excellent reviews for it from almost everyone I watched try it out, I knew I needed to see if it worked as well with my skin as the concealer did!

What it claims:

🔘 A hydrating foundation that delivers medium buildable coverage with a natural skin finish

🔘 Infused with Coconut Water & Hyaluronic Acid for hydrated, luminous skin

🔘 The flexible formula provides undetectable, medium to full coverage that lasts all day

🔘 This vegan foundation is dermatologist tested and oil-free, alcohol-free, and fragrance-free

🔘 Available in 29 shades on @ultabeauty’s website, but 42 shades on @colourpopcosmetics’ website

My experience:

👍🏻 My most used shade in the concealer is Light 40 N, so I purchased the shade Light 55 N in the foundation and it works perfectly as my almost winter shade.

👍🏻 It blends out easily and didn’t cling to any dry patches.

👍🏻 It played well with all of the products I put underneath and layered on top.

👎🏻 It sank very, very slightly into my forehead lines.

👍🏻 In the photo, I had been wearing it for over ten (10) hours and had only blotted once.

My verdict?

Excellent shade match, blendable, gorgeous coverage, long-lasting and inexpensive?! This is such a great foundation! As someone with an oily t-zone, but normal to slightly dry skin (now that winter is approaching) on the rest of my face, I would say this formula would work well with a multitude of skin types.

FYI, I receive a small commission when you shop via the links listed above. There is no additional cost to you, but it supports me and my blog and I greatly appreciate it!
