Even though I have an oily t-zone, I know my skin craves moisture. So, when @laneige_us gifted me their Cica Sleeping Mask ($34 for 2 ounces at @sephora – https://rstyle.me/+kRihzhKg3XWIwuftkS48lw), I was pretty excited to test it out!
What it claims:
🔘 An overnight replenishing mask that delivers intense moisture to help soothe redness and strengthen the skin barrier for healthier, less stressed skin
🔘 Formulated with Laneige’s exclusive forest yeast extract, Cica Sleeping Mask is more effective than traditional Cica products
🔘 Applied before bed, it makes the most of your shut eye by providing deep nourishment during the hours when skin is weakened due to loss of moisture and oil
🔘 Free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, and contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances
🔘 Vegan
My experience:
🔘 I have been using this every night for nearly two (2) weeks.
🔘 I apply toner, essence, eye cream, serum, moisturizer and then this mask.
👍🏻 It is a heavy cream, but it sinks fairly quickly into my skin and that’s especially nice because I don’t want to go to bed thinking I run the risk of getting a heavy, greasy face mask all over my bed.
👍🏻 When I wake up, it has completely sunk into my skin, but has left my skin looking perfectly hydrated and plumped.
👍🏻 I believe I have seen a reduction in the redness and that’s one of my main skin concerns, so it is very much appreciated.
My verdict?
I’m very pleased with the results I’ve seen so far! An increase in hydration and a reduction in redness is all I could ask for in a skincare product! I look forward to using it up and providing my final thoughts in an upcoming empties post.
