Friday Favorites – @PIXIBeauty Eye Effects and Nuance Quartettes

September 18, 2020

Thank you, @pixibeauty, for this beautiful, as always, PR package!

What I received:

🔘 Eye Effects: Hazelnut Haze ($22 –

🔘 Nuance Quartette: Honey Nectar ($16 –

🔘 Nuance Quartette: Sugar Blossom ($16 –

🔘 Eye Effects: Rosette Ray ($22 –

What’s on my face:

👍🏻 I used both bronzer shades from the Nuance palettes – Syrup and Rosewood. Layered they’re stunning, but if I had to choose a favorite, it’s Syrup because the pigment is stronger and it gives me more of the bronzed look I want. They’re both very buildable, however, so if you are more drawn to the Rosewood shade, you’ll be pleased with that, too.

👍🏻 I also used both blush shades from the Nuance palettes – Nectar and Blossom. Using both together, they’re gorgeous, but if I had to choose a favorite, it’s Blossom because the shade is incredible and the pigment makes it so that I only need to use the tiniest amount. Nectar is still a great shade, but it’s less pigmented and that may be desirable for those not as into blush as I have been recently.

👍🏻 The highlight in my photo is only one shade, Honey. It has quite a bit of glitter in it, but I love that. If you don’t love glitter in a highlight, use any of the other three (3) shades because those will give you the most stunning glow without a shimmer.

👍🏻 My mascara is @pixibeauty’s Large Lash Mascara ($16 – and my setting spray is @pixibeauty’s Glow Mist ($15 –

👍🏻 I am not wearing either eyeshadow palette I received because I plan to feature those in an upcoming giveaway!

My verdict?

I love both of the Nuance palettes! They have wonderful pigment and the shades are perfect for my skintone. My only hope is that, in the future, they come out with Quartettes that fit a wider range of skin tones. However, if you are light to medium in skin tone, I think these would work really well for you!
