If you saw my @sephora sale haul back on July 4th (https://bit.ly/3gHJuRh), you will have seen that I picked up the @glowrecipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner ($34 for 5.07 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+bNHHOtzaAVNkEyN-CBjYsA). It had such incredible reviews and, honestly, the packaging was what finally sold me on it!
What it claims:
🔘 Suitable for all skin types, this bouncy, alcohol-free toner is made with PHA and willow bark, a natural form of BHA, to help unclog pores while hydrating skin
🔘 Combined with watermelon, hyaluronic acid, and cactus water, it smooths without stripping skin of its moisture, for poreless, glowing skin
🔘 Due to cactus water and cucumber in the formula, scent is herbal with a fruity finish
🔘 Certified Clean at Sephora (Clean at Sephora is formulated without a list of over 50 ingredients, including sulfates (SLS and SLES), parabens, phthalates, and more)
My experience:
🔘 I have used this a handful of times, both in my AM and PM skincare routines.
🔘 It says that you can apply it with your hands or a cotton pad. I have only ever used a cotton pad because, since I use this right after cleansing, I will sometimes have makeup remnants that a toner helps me take off.
👍🏻 It has a scent (watermelon heavy, obviously), but I really enjoy it and it doesn’t linger.
👍🏻 I love the way this feels. It makes my skin feel super clean, while still leaving behind hydrated and glowy skin.
👍🏻 I have seen a slight reduction in the appearance of my pores that I hope will only get better and better with prolonged use.
My verdict?
I am really pleased with the performance of this product thus far! Plus, it’s beautiful, so win-win! I’ll be sure to update on my experience with it in a future empties post.
