I have never had a good hair day when volume wasn’t involved, so I’m always keeping my eye out for the perfect hair volumizer for me. Today, I’m testing out the @livingproofinc Full Root Lift ($29 for 5.5 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+yVrwuCWba86e3t3cO1awRQ)!
What it claims:
π A heat activated spray to give a boost at the roots for a natural, touchable feel that lasts all day
π Delivers a fine spray pattern that is never stiff or sticky for long-lasting lift and height and a non-tacky comb-out
π Transforms fine, flat hair to look and behave like naturally full, thick hair
π Ideal for fine, flat hair
π Silicone-free
π Safe and formulated for color and chemically treated hair
My experience:
π I have used this on several occasions.
ππ» It has the typical @livingproofinc scent and I love it! It’s strong initially, but doesn’t linger.
ππ»ππ» The first time I used this, I didn’t use enough and was disappointed in the results. However, each time after that, I used quite a bit more and have discovered that it’s not something you can use a light hand with.
ππ» When using the appropriate amount (a lot) I get such a fantastic amount of volume!
ππ» I agree with the claim that it doesn’t leave your hair feeling tacky.
ππ» This is one of the few products like this that I’ve tried that actually does last all day.
π I was told by Painted by James that I have fine hair, just a lot of it, so I am guessing that’s part of the reason this worked well for me.
My verdict?
I am really impressed with this product! Even though I have so many that are similar, I find myself only reaching for this recently! I can definitely see myself repurchasing this when I run out.
