I have never had a good hair day when volume wasn’t involved, so I’m always keeping my eye out for the perfect hair volumizer for me. Today, I’m testing out the @livingproofinc Full Root Lift ($29 for 5.5 ounces – https://rstyle.me/+yVrwuCWba86e3t3cO1awRQ)!
What it claims:
🔘 A heat activated spray to give a boost at the roots for a natural, touchable feel that lasts all day
🔘 Delivers a fine spray pattern that is never stiff or sticky for long-lasting lift and height and a non-tacky comb-out
🔘 Transforms fine, flat hair to look and behave like naturally full, thick hair
🔘 Ideal for fine, flat hair
🔘 Silicone-free
🔘 Safe and formulated for color and chemically treated hair
My experience:
🔘 I have used this on several occasions.
👍🏻 It has the typical @livingproofinc scent and I love it! It’s strong initially, but doesn’t linger.
👍🏻👎🏻 The first time I used this, I didn’t use enough and was disappointed in the results. However, each time after that, I used quite a bit more and have discovered that it’s not something you can use a light hand with.
👍🏻 When using the appropriate amount (a lot) I get such a fantastic amount of volume!
👍🏻 I agree with the claim that it doesn’t leave your hair feeling tacky.
👍🏻 This is one of the few products like this that I’ve tried that actually does last all day.
🔘 I was told by Painted by James that I have fine hair, just a lot of it, so I am guessing that’s part of the reason this worked well for me.
My verdict?
I am really impressed with this product! Even though I have so many that are similar, I find myself only reaching for this recently! I can definitely see myself repurchasing this when I run out.
