Friday Favorite – @tartecosmetics SEA Breezy Cream Bronzer

July 24, 2020

I can’t begin to tell you how many products I have purchased based solely off of the reviews given by the amazing beauty bloggers I follow. This time, I was especially grateful to come across @mrs_mccreadyโ€™s recommendation of the @tartecosmetics SEA Breezy Cream Bronzer ($29 for .56 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bkA8O) because, after only the first use, I knew this would be a favorite of mine!

What it claims:

๐Ÿ”˜ This dermatologist-tested, velvety cream formula blends evenly to contour, bronze, and give you an all-over healthy and hydrated glow

๐Ÿ”˜ It applies as a cream and dries down to a natural-looking, matte finish

๐Ÿ”˜ Free of parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, mineral oil, and triclosan

๐Ÿ”˜ Vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free

My experience:

๐Ÿ”˜ It comes in three (3) shades – Seychelles (matte bronze), Grace Bay (deep matte bronze) and Sunset Beach (rich matte bronze). I purchased Seychelles.

๐Ÿ”˜ I have used this on multiple occasions, both with a brush and a damp beauty sponge. If you want the most pigment possible, use a brush. If you want the most blended, airbrushed appearance, use a sponge. If you want both, lay the product down with a brush and blend it out with a sponge.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป My previous favorite cream bronzer was from @hourglasscosmetics (photos 3 and 4) and it was found in their Illume Sheer Color Trio (since seemingly discontinued). I love the tone and the blendability and had struggled to find a replacement (because, as you can see, I’ve hit pan). Thankfully, this product is more pigmented, slightly less warm-toned (a good thing, in my opinion) and much cheaper because I don’t have to buy two (2) other products I don’t get much use out of.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป It lasts all day on me.

My verdict?

For the shade, amount of pigment, blendaility, quantity of product and price, this bronzer is absolutely perfect for me! The only downside is that the packaging is made easily dirty. That’s it. That’s my only con. If you have been in the market for a new bronzer (cream or powder – this is just the best Iโ€™ve tried), I highly recommend this one!

FYI, I receive a small commission when you shop via the link listed above. There is no additional cost to you.
