As a lover of testing out foundations, every new release intrigues me! However, I can’t afford that, so I live for foundation samples! Today, I’m testing out the @patmcgrathreal Sublime Perfection Foundation ($68 for 1.18 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bkbgP)!
What it claims:

My experience:
👎🏻 One of my pet peeves when it comes to foundation samples is when a single packet doesn’t cover the entire face. If you are going to go through the effort and expense of creating samples for distribution, please put enough product in it.
🔘 I applied this with a sponge on the right side and a brush on the left side. I much preferred the coverage on the brush side, so that would be my preferred application method.
🔘 The coverage is light. I didn’t have enough to build it up, so I only got light coverage with the sponge and low medium coverage with the brush.
👍🏻 It blended out easily and gave my skin a smooth, natural looking finish.
👍🏻 In the photo, I had been wearing the foundation for ten (10) hours. While it had bunched up in my forehead lines the tiniest bit, it still looked beautiful!
👍🏻👎🏻 I got pretty dewy on my nose around six (6) hours in, but the oils never broke down the foundation.
My verdict?
Is this a nice foundation? Yes. Can you find foundations that perform similarly for MUCH less? Absolutely! If you have been looking for something lightweight, long-lasting and lower coverage, I highly recommend the @stellarbeautyofficial Limitless Foundation (currently on sale for $19 for 1.01 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bkbjo).
