I love tacos and I love makeup, so when given the opportunity to combine both of those, how could I say no?! I purchased the @glamlite Street Taco Palette ($22, but you can save 20% using code GLAM20, bringing it down to only $17.60 – https://bit.ly/38fBJin) because my niece asked for their Pizza Palette (https://bit.ly/2NHkQU3) for her birthday and, having never tried @glamlite before, I knew I needed to test one of the palettes out for myself!
What it claims:
๐ From the original creators of the world’s first taco palette (https://bit.ly/2NKeYtb), Glamlite takes you on a second trip to Latin America to bring you the Street Taco, inspired by the popular twist on one of the most delicious and authentic Mexican dishes ever created
๐ This tasty taco includes the most traditional and mouth watering toppings such as Guacamole, Carne Asada, Al pastor, Carnitas, and Pico de gallo, just to name a few…and with new colors
๐ This palette features 10 highly pigmented shades including 6 buttery mattes, 1 dynamic duochrome and 3 ultra dazzling shimmers
My experience:
๐๐ป Of all the beautiful palettes they make, I was most drawn to this because it has so many shades I don’t already have in my collection.
๐ I used this for the first time today and have Pollo, Carne Asada and Pico de Gallo on my eyes.
๐๐ป I’m no makeup artist, but I was super impressed by how pigmented and blendable the two (2) matte shades were.
๐๐ป I originally intended on using Carnitas as my lid shade, but it was a bit too dark, so moved to Pico de Gallo and I was very pleased with the quality of that shimmer.
๐๐ป I experienced very little fallout.
๐๐ป I have been wearing the look I came up with for nearly four (4) hours and have experienced no creasing or fading. I’ll update in my Stories tonight as to whether that statement rang true all day.
My verdict?
I am very excited to have this in my collection! The best part is, it contains neutrals, so that you can make an entire look with just this palette, rather than having to incorporate others. I swatched all of the shades over on my TikTok (@katierobisonblogs), so pop over there if you want to see what those look like!
