Try Out Tuesday – @deciem Lactic Acid 10% + HA

June 16, 2020

I don’t mind paying good money for excellent skincare, but, if I had my choice, I would definitely prefer to pay almost nothing for that same, high-level performance! That’s why I have been testing out the @deciem Lactic Acid 10% + HA ($6.80 for 1 ounce –!

What it claims:

🔘 This 10 percent lactic acid-enriched formulation offers mild exfoliation for smoother skin

🔘 Supported with a purified Tasmanian pepperberry, it reduces signs of inflammation and sensitivity that is often associated with exfoliation

🔘 Solutions for uneven skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, dullness and uneven texture

🔘 Good for normal, oily, combination and dry skin types

🔘 This product is vegan, cruelty-free and formulated without oil, alcohol, silicone, nuts, gluten and fragrance

My experience:

🔘 According to the instructions, you should “Apply once per day, ideally in the PM” and it “Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance.” So, for my first two (2) times using it, I did so at night and mixed in with my moisturizer.

🔘 Since I didn’t experience any irritation those two (2) times, I decided to use it on its own every time since. I have not once dealt with any concerning side effects.

👍🏻 A little goes a long way. So, not only are you spending so little to begin with, this can also last you quite a while.

👍🏻 When I wake up in the morning, after applying this, my skin is so very smooth! I can definitely tell that it has been exfoliated.

My verdict?

I am so impressed! For the price, size, accessibility – you can’t go wrong! I have used and enjoy other products with similar claims ( and this performs as well as those. If you have been wanting to try a product like this, I highly recommend you give this a go because, even if it doesn’t work for you, the investment won’t break the bank.
