I am always looking for more affordable skincare options, so when @sephora started carrying @deciem, I knew I need to pick up a few items to review! Today, I’m giving you my thoughts on the Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA ($5.80 for 1 ounce or $7.70 for 3.3 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bh8r8).
What it claims:
๐ A hydrating formula with amino acids, dermal lipids, and hyaluronic acid
๐ This formula offers non-greasy hydration that acts as a direct topical supplement of natural moisturizing factor components
๐ It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA, and hyaluronic acid, offering immediate hydration and lasting results with continued use
๐ This product is vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without oil, alcohol, silicone, nuts, gluten, and fragrance
My experience:
๐ I have used this many times in combination with several other skincare products.
๐๐ป I really enjoy the texture. It’s thick and doesn’t require much to moisturize my entire face and neck.
๐๐ป I have worn this under makeup and on no makeup days. On days I wear it under makeup, my skin appears a normal level of hydrated.
๐๐ป When I wear this on no makeup days, I have been disappointed in the amount of hydration my skin maintains throughout the day.
My verdict?
No matter what skincare products I use this moisturizer with, when I am wearing it without makeup over top, I feel pretty dry by the end of the day. When I go without makeup, I want my skin to be glowy and hydrated all the livelong day and I just didn’t get that with this. I’ll use it up, but I won’t be repurchasing – even though it is incredibly inexpensive because there are other affordable moisturizers I would recommend over this.
If you use @deciem products, which is your favorite?
