Skincare Sunday – @tula So Polished Exfoliating Sugar Face Scrub

May 10, 2020

Note to self: Next time you drive around town with the top off your @jeep, sun beating on your face, wear sunscreen. Then, you won’t be in such desperate need of the @tula So Polished Exfoliating Sugar Face Scrub ($32 for 2.9 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bhb0Q) to get rid of the peeling skin on your forehead!

What it claims:

๐Ÿ”˜ Get ready for your softest skin ever

๐Ÿ”˜ Packed with healthy ingredients like sugar, a natural exfoliant that dissolves in water, as well as papaya and pineapple, which contain naturally occurring enzymes to chemically exfoliate the skin, this scrub leaves skin looking smoother and brighter

๐Ÿ”˜ Smells like a beach vacation

๐Ÿ”˜ Their products are 100% free from phthalates, parabens, toxins, carcinogens, mineral oil, sodium laurel sulfate, and harmful preservatives

๐Ÿ”˜ All products are cruelty-free

My experience:

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I love the scent of this. Just like the claims say, it makes me feel like I’m on vacation and we could all use a little bit of that vibe right now!

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป The granules are super fine, but they still get the job done and done well.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Several reviews claimed that the sugars dissolved before they could complete the scrubbing process. I didn’t have that issue.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป One of my biggest issues with facial scrubs is the difficultly removing all of the scrub particles from my face during the wash off process. This, however, easily rinsed off completely. A major plus in my book.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป My skin felt so incredibly soft after removal.

My verdict?

It is rare that I fall in love with a skincare product after first use, but this one is special. It does everything I hope a scrub would do and that’s why I give it my seal of approval. After rinsing it off and drying my hands, I went straight to my @ultabeauty cart and added it.

FYI, I receive a small commission when you shop via the link listed above. There is no additional cost to you.
