There are so many products from @verbproducts that I love, so I was super excited to try out their Leave-In Mist ($18 for 6.5 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bgm3e) that I got in a travel-size bundle you can customize on their website!
What it claims:
🔘 A multitasking leave-in conditioner that moisturizes, detangles, smooths, tames frizz, repairs ends, adds shine and preps for styling
🔘 Formulated with bamboo extract and argan oil, this layerable formula weightlessly conditions, prevents breakage and enhances elasticity in all hair types—from super thick and coily, to thinning, fine and fragile (and every type in between)
🔘 Free of parabens, formaldehydes, mineral oil, sulfates SLS & SLES
🔘 Gluten-free, cruelty-free, and comes in recyclable packaging
My experience:
🔘 I have used this twice.
👎🏻 While this product has a lot of really good reviews, most of the less than 5-star ones mention the inconsistent spray and I agree with them completely. Since it’s not a liquid and it’s more of a gel cream, it doesn’t easily dispense and that can mean an uneven distribution throughout your hair.
🔘 The first time I used this, I air dried my hair and the second time I blow dried. I noticed similar results each time.
👍🏻 As you can tell, my hair looks hydrated and that’s especially great for me because with all the blonde I have going on, sometimes it can look dry.
👍🏻 This is the only product in my hair, other than the dry shampoo I applied this morning. Normally, dry shampoo can make my hair look dehydrated, but this product has kept it looking shiny and healthy.
My verdict?
According to the bottle, this product is also a heat protectant, but I don’t find that anywhere on Sephora’s or Verb’s website. Inconsistent claims drive me nuts, so that’s a negative. However, other than that and the terrible packaging, this is a pretty good product. It does what it says it will and at a fairly affordable price. If you’ve been looking for something like this, I would definitely recommend trying it out (and using that Sephora discount code, if you have one)!
FYI, I receive a small commission when you shop via the link listed above.
