I would say dry shampoo has been my best friend lately, but I would be lying because we’ve actually been best friends for many, many years. Today, I’m testing out The One by @fekkai’s One More Day Dry Shampoo ($26 for 4.6 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bfKK4 (currently sold out) or https://bit.ly/3bac1wa)!
What it claims:
🔘 Instantly starts working to absorb excess dirt and oil and help energize hair with a fresh, clean scent
🔘 Exclusive marine technology helps transform hair from the inside out by protecting against external pollutants
🔘 Hair feels rejuvenated with touchable softness and volume
🔘 For all hair types
🔘 Suitable for color-treated hair
🔘 Paraben free
My experience:
👍🏻 The scent is fantastic and it lingers all day. For those of you that have sensitivity to strong smells, you may not like this, but for those of us who want a dry shampoo that not only eliminates oils, but also makes your hair smell better, this is perfect for that.
👍🏻 This left a very light cast in my hair, but looking at the nozzle after spraying, I see it’s tinted. However, as I have said before, I much prefer a dry shampoo that leaves a cast because, in my experience, they’re more powerful and I can see where I put it.
👍🏻👎🏻 It did a really nice job of eliminating all of the heaviness the oils had created in my hair. Unfortunately, it only lasted half the day. While my hair didn’t look super greasy again, it lost all volume around six (6) hours in.
My verdict?
The scent alone and the fact that it lingers all day would make me consider purchasing the full size of this product. The only problem is, it’s super pricey. It’s only $1 less expensive than my current and long-time favorite, but gives you nearly two (2) ounces less of product. So, if I see it go on sale, I would likely pick it up to see if I still liked it with continued use. Until then, I’ll use up the sample and go back to my tried and true.
FYI, I receive a small commission when you shop via the link listed above. There is no additional cost to you.
