Mascara Monday – @redaspenlove Pump It Up, Maggie mascara

April 13, 2020

Thank you to @abeautifullyfitsoul for sending me the @redaspenlove Pump It Up, Maggie ($23 for .37 ounces – to try out!

What it claims:

🔘 A stunning vegan mascara designed to be worn with or without Red Aspen luxe faux lashes

🔘 This 4-in-1 vegan mascara lengthens, curls, volumizes & conditions your natural lashes with the help of its 360° wonder wand

🔘 Won’t clump or flake

🔘 Cruelty free, phthalate free, paraben free, gluten free, vegan

My experience:

🔘 I have worn this on three (3) separate occasions.

🔘 Photo 7 = 1 coat right eye, photo 8 = 2 coats right eye, photo 9 = 2 coats both eyes

👍🏻 It’s a bit wetter of a formula than my current favorites, but surprisingly, I don’t notice it smudging during application much at all. If it does, however, removal is easy.

👍🏻 It does a great job of lengthening my lashes.

👍🏻👎🏻 In a perfect world, I would get slightly more curl, but since I already have some natural curl, it doesn’t bother me much.

👍🏻👎🏻 The first coat dries quickly and you need to finesse the second coat, but I promise that the effort is worth it.

👍🏻👎🏻 It can get slightly clumpy during application, so just make sure to remove some of the excess from the brush.

👍🏻 It looks fantastic on my lower lashes.

👍🏻 It doesn’t smudge under my eye throughout the day! This, to me, is it’s best feature.

My verdict?

I’m going to be super honest. My expectations for this mascara were quite low because it’s sold by @redaspenlove, a MLM (multi-level marketing) company. I have strong feelings when it comes to MLMs (I sold Avon in college, so I have a little more insight) and try to steer clear of their products. However, I am so happy that I was sent this because it really is good!

If you are interested in ordering, you can either message @abeautifullyfitsoul or you can shop her website –

What are your thoughts on MLMs? Are there products you own from any MLMs that you swear by?
