It isn’t often that I get blush samples and even less often that the sample is deluxe sized so that I can get sufficient enough use out of in order to review it! Thankfully, that was the case with this @bareminerals Bounce & Blur Blush in the shade Mauve Sunrise ($29 for .19 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bek16) and that’s what I’ve been testing for the last several days!
What it claims:

My experience:
👍🏻 The shade is gorgeous. While it looks very shiny in the swatch, it provides just the right amount of glow once actually applied to the cheeks.
👍🏻 It is quite pigmented. Lately, I have been using blushes that require more building up (which is totally fine with me because I normally don’t want a bold flush), but it is nice that with just a dab into the pan, I can apply the exact amount of color I desire and it blends out easily.
👍🏻 It says it can be applied with your fingers, but I haven’t tried that method yet. Each time I’ve used it, I’ve used a blush brush and it works perfectly.
👍🏻 It lasts all day.
My verdict?
Taking into account the shade, ease of application and lasting power, I can say with certainty that this is a very high quality product! However, I do have other blushes that are less expensive that perform similarly, so while I’ll enjoy using this up, I don’t foresee myself purchasing the full size.
