It isn’t an exaggeration when I say that dry shampoo has saved me hundreds of hours that I would have spent washing and drying my hair. So, when I get a sample of one I haven’t tried, I get quite excited. Even better? When I realized that @dphue, the manufacturer of the Apple Cider Vinegar Dry Shampoo ($23 for 5 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bc066) I was testing, is a local (Minnesota) company!
What it claims:
π A unique, oil-absorbing formula with antimicrobial properties made for all hair colors and hair types
π It cleanses the hair and scalp more than a typical dry shampoo, without leaving behind chalky white residue
π Refresh your style fast, without the wash-dry-style routine
π Color safe formula, formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Gluten, Silicone
π Animal-friendly and vegan
π Made in the USA using the highest-quality Apple Cider Vinegar
My experience:
π Photo four (4) is my hair that has not had any product applied to it for two (2) days – and that includes dry shampoo.
ππ» The scent is light and pleasant, which is a big relief because I was afraid it would smell like apple cider vinegar.
ππ» There is a very slight residue that appears when first applying, but, as I have mentioned before, I prefer that because then I can see where I’ve sprayed it.
ππ» Photo one (1) is after application and massaging the product into my hair and scalp. As you can tell, it absolutely took out the greasiness and added a nice amount of volume.
My verdict?
Called me biased, but I love my home state so much that I went into this thinking that I would like it even if I didn’t like it – if you know what I mean. However, I am so thankful that I didn’t have to look for positives in a sea of negatives because it’s just a really good product! From the attractive packaging and scent to the performance, it gets the job done and done well! I can definitely see myself purchasing the full size in the future.
