Worth the Hype Wednesday – @KerastaseUSA L’incroyable Blow-Dry Reshapable Lotion

January 8, 2020

I recently discovered @kayleymelissa on YouTube and was intrigued to see her use, over and over again, the @kerastase_official L’incroyable Blow-Dry Reshapable Lotion ($35 for 5.1 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bcoXt). Since I could tell immediately that she knew what she was talking about, I picked it up from @sephora and started testing it out right away!

What it claims:

🔘 A heat-activated styling lotion for maximum reshapability and thermal protection

🔘 Thermal protection up to 450° F

🔘 Up to 96 hours of extreme fizz control

🔘 Create endless looks with this miracle heat-sensitive lotion using microwax technology that allows the hair to set and re-set hairstyles with ease

My experience:

🔘 I washed my hair on Sunday night and applied several pumps to my damp hair. I let it air dry partially and then finished drying it with a blow dryer brush.

👍🏻 I used a large curling iron to curl my hair Monday morning and then re-curled it with my straightener on Tuesday morning. What impressed me was that the straightener glided through my hair effortlessly. Normally when I have product in my hair, it skips and tugs, but this was as if it were just clean hair.

👍🏻 I know I address this often, but when it comes to hair products it’s important to me – it smells fantastic! It lingered only slightly in my hair, so if you are opposed to strong scents, this product won’t bother you.

👍🏻 My hair was super shiny and soft after curling it both days – which I sometimes seen on day 1, but never see if I apply heat another time. This product seems to have protected my hair throughout both processes.

🔘 It doesn’t weigh my hair down, but I still applied a volumizer to my dry hair Tuesday morning because I like when my hair is super full.

My verdict?

I really, really like this product! If something can provide me with this level of shine in the winter with multiple heat tools applied over it, I am all in! Plus, the scent doesn’t at all hurt. Another definite winner from @kerastase_official!

Do you use a heat protectant on your hair?
