Try Out Tuesday – @fentybeauty Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner

January 7, 2020

Something I absolutely love the look of, but haven’t even come close to mastering is winged eyeliner. I know a lot of it has to do with the product and the brush that applies the product, so when I heard rave reviews about the @fentybeauty Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner ($20 for .019 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bcoVv or you can try a mini version, in a set paired with their eye primer for $24 – https://shopstyle.it/l/bcqMM) and then got a sample of it in a recent @sephora order, I knew it was time I faced my fear and did my eyeliner like every other makeup obsessed person!

What it claims:

🔘 Experience the crisp color intensity of a liquid, plus the glide of a gel in one long-wearing, water-resistant formula that dries fast and won’t fade or transfer until you say when

🔘 Featuring a smart triangle shape that makes it easy to hold

🔘 A hyper-saturated satin finish with each and every stroke – no dragging, skipping, or having to retrace your steps

🔘 Cruelty-free

My experience:

🔘 I first applied it at 7am this morning.

🔘 I rarely do my eye makeup first, but knowing there was a high likelihood I would be quite messy with this application, that’s how I started.

👍🏻 Much to my surprise, I didn’t screw up on the actual wing once! I know it’s not perfect, but it FAR exceeded my expectations!

👍🏻 I never had to shake the liner to get more product out – it flowed easily the entire time.

👍🏻 It is very pigmented.

👍🏻 I have been wearing it for over five (5) hours and have experienced no smudging in my inner corner – which is a trouble spot for me normally. I’ll update later tonight in my Story as to whether or not it stayed put all day.

My experience:

I really need to wear winged eyeliner more often because boy, do I feel fierce! And, in my opinion, it’s because of how easy this product was to use. I went in thinking I’d get frustrated and give it a bad review. However, the opposite happened. If you have been in the market for a new liquid eyeliner, I highly recommend trying this one!

What is your go-to liquid eyeliner?
