Having been sick for the past few days, my sleep schedule has been off and that has resulted in all of the beautiful things that come with a lack of sleep, including, but not limited to, very tired looking eyes. So, I figured it was a perfect time to test out the @yesto Energizing Coffee Super Eye Mask ($3.99 – https://amzn.to/2MZkB75)!
What it claims:
🔘 A mask that moisturizes and helps visibly de-puff your pretty peepers
🔘 Formulated without Parabens, SLS and Silicones
🔘 Made of 100% natural cotton
My experience:
👍🏻 I enjoy the light coffee scent.
👎🏻 I’m not sure if this was supposed to happen, but the serum had leaked out from the plastic packaging (not the outer packaging) the mask was contained within, so it was difficult to open up.
👎🏻 It was difficult to apply because it was too small – I had to re-read the packaging to see if I had gotten a children’s face mask.
👎🏻 It started to dry out almost as soon as I finally got it positioned and that meant that it didn’t keep contact with my face fully – a pretty important factor.
👍🏻 After ten (10) minutes, I removed it and was actually impressed with how hydrated my under eyes appeared.
My verdict?
If this mask fit and stayed on better, I may be giving this a rave review. However, since it didn’t do either of those, I can’t recommend it.
