I’ll be honest. I purchased the @glowrecipe Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask ($42 for .5 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/bb7MO) because of the packaging. But who can blame me – look how cute it is!
What it claims:

My experience:
🔘 I have used this on several occasions. Normally as a night eye cream, but also, as the packaging states you can, as a day eye cream.
👍🏻 The packaging is beautiful and I like that it comes with an applicator (not pictured). I usually find them unnecessary, but the opening is fairly narrow and it does make the process more sanitary.
👍🏻👎🏻 I don’t love the texture. It looks really thick, but doesn’t feel like it. For a day eye cream I can appreciate that, but I prefer something thicker for nighttime.
👍🏻👎🏻 After weeks of repeated use, I can safely say that I didn’t notice any benefits different than other eye creams I had used up until I started with this one.
My verdict:
I really, really wanted to love this. The reviews were great, the jar was display worthy and I got excited by the idea of having super moisturized under eyes every morning. Unfortunately, it just didn’t do anything special for me and, for the price, I need to see more than I did.
