First Impression Friday – @HaskHair Rosé Wine Inspired Dry Shampoo

September 27, 2019

Have I mentioned before that I’m in a committed relationship with dry shampoo? While I do have my favorites, I am always looking for something better – and cheaper. Today, I’m testing out the @haskhair Rosé Wine Inspired Dry Shampoo ($8.99 for 4.3 ounces at @ultabeauty – https://shopstyle.it/l/8tLQ).

What it claims:

🔘 Long-lasting oil absorption

🔘 Formula free of Sulfates, Parabens & Aluminum

🔘 Fragranced with notes of juicy peach, strawberry and sparkling rose

My experience:

👍🏻 The scent is fantastic. Just like the deep conditioner I love from them. It is strong though, so if you don’t or can’t love fragrance, this may not be for you.

👍🏻 I love the packaging.

👍🏻👎🏻 I had used this a few times before today and hadn’t been a fan of the results, so today I let it sit on my hair for a lot more time before massaging it in. That did the trick because I noticed much greater oil absorption than I had previously.

👍🏻👎🏻 The results didn’t last as long as my holy grail dry shampoo’s results do, but I was still impressed. It wasn’t until around hour eight (8) after application that I noticed the oily appearance returning.

My verdict?

Considering I thoroughly enjoy the scent of this product and it’s less than half the cost per ounce than my holy grail, I would absolutely say I recommend this. If you’re on a budget, like things that smell good, and/or just like trying out new dry shampoos, I am sure you won’t be disappointed if you pick it up.

Do you like when your hair products have a strong fragrance?
