When I hear, from multiple trusted sources, that there is a dupe for one of my favorite concealers that’s nearly 80% less costly, it’s something I know I need to try! That’s why, today, I am testing out the @elfcosmetics 16hr Camo Concealer ($6 for .2 ounces at @ultabeauty – https://shopstyle.it/l/7EoT).
What it claims:
🔘 @elfcosmetics’ most full-coverage, long-wear formula ever
🔘 Camouflage those pesky spots and under-eye circles with this high-coverage, crease resistant, 16-hour wear camo concealer
🔘 Creamy dreamy formula glides on to help conceal dark circles and blemishes and can also be used to highlight and contour the face
👍🏻 I purchased shade Light Beige (light with golden beige undertone) and I think it works really well for my skin tone.
👍🏻 I applied it at 6am, so it has now been on for nearly five (5) hours and looks just as good as it did after initial application.
👍🏻 It isn’t creaseless (I don’t think any concealer truly is), but it didn’t crease much at all on my under eyes.
👍🏻 While the price is great, it is important to note that it has .13 ounces less than my current higher end go-to. It is still more affordable, but always check quantity before price. You could think you’re saving money when, in fact, the price per ounce may be less with the more expensive choice.
👍🏻 It blended out easily and worked seamlessly with my foundation and powder.
👍🏻 This is a high coverage concealer, as it claims, so a little goes a long way. I used too much, but it still never got cakey or heavy looking.
This is an excellent concealer and I actually agree that it’s a dupe for Tarte’s Shape Tape (there, I said it)! It looks beautiful on the skin, covers extremely well and has great staying power. Plus, it’s super affordable! I will absolutely be repurchasing when I use it up.
Have you tried this hyped-up concealer? If yes, what was your experience?
