It was my third and last day at the @mnstatefair for the year (hence the carnival game in the background) and we had a great time! Because we got on the road at 7am, I skipped makeup, but continued to test the @pcaskin Dual Action Redness Relief ($115 for 1 ounce on their website).
What it claims:
🔘 Starts reducing redness and inflammation on contact with the skin
Improves the skin’s barrier function for long-term relief from redness and sensitivity
🔘 Calms and soothes compromised skin, even after professional treatments
🔘 Uses the time-released OmniSome delivery system
My verdict?
I have used this numerous times and have been satisfied with its performance. As you can tell, right (8) hours after initial application, I’m still hydrated. The formula is thick and very moisturizing – which I like now and will likely love in the winter. I even feel as though I’ve noticed a slight reduction in my redness (one of my major skin concerns). However, the price turns me off slightly. Thankfully, a little goes a long way, so that makes it a bit easier to digest. I’ll definitely consider repurchasing if my redness continues to improve.
What’s your most expensive skincare item that you can’t live without?
