Skincare Saturday – @PCASKIN Dual Action Redness Relief

September 4, 2019

It was my third and last day at the @mnstatefair for the year (hence the carnival game in the background) and we had a great time! Because we got on the road at 7am, I skipped makeup, but continued to test the @pcaskin Dual Action Redness Relief ($115 for 1 ounce on their website).

What it claims:
๐Ÿ”˜ Starts reducing redness and inflammation on contact with the skin
Improves the skinโ€™s barrier function for long-term relief from redness and sensitivity
๐Ÿ”˜ Calms and soothes compromised skin, even after professional treatments
๐Ÿ”˜ Uses the time-released OmniSome delivery system

My verdict?
I have used this numerous times and have been satisfied with its performance. As you can tell, right (8) hours after initial application, Iโ€™m still hydrated. The formula is thick and very moisturizing – which I like now and will likely love in the winter. I even feel as though Iโ€™ve noticed a slight reduction in my redness (one of my major skin concerns). However, the price turns me off slightly. Thankfully, a little goes a long way, so that makes it a bit easier to digest. Iโ€™ll definitely consider repurchasing if my redness continues to improve.

Whatโ€™s your most expensive skincare item that you canโ€™t live without?
