I’m changing the song lyrics from “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” to “Foundation samples are a girl’s best friend” because, when they are sufficiently sized (foundation samples, not diamonds), they really are my favorite thing! Today, I’m testing out the @bareminerals BarePRO Performance Wear Liquid Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20 ($34 for 1 ounce at @sephora – https://shopstyle.it/l/7en8).
What it claims:

My experience:
👍🏻 The shade is a pretty good match, even though I had a limited selection of sample shades to choose from.
👍🏻 This comes in 35 shades and the range is pretty good.
👍🏻 I find the shade descriptions easy to understand, which I definitely can’t say for all foundations.
👍🏻 The first day I wore this (photo 1), I did so for over twelve hours and I never had to blot – which is absolutely incredible for me. Today is the 2nd time I’ve worn it and it’s performing just as well as it did the first time around.
👍🏻 It blended out easily both times and played well with the products I layered on top.
👍🏻 The coverage is high medium.
My verdict?
My goodness, this is such a fantastic foundation on my skin! It’s matte, but doesn’t suck the life out of me, long-lasting and fairly affordable (especially when purchased during an @ultabeauty or @sephora sale, which is when I intend on doing so)! Looks like I’ll have to do a foundation declutter soon in order to make room for this beauty!
